Award-winning venue brings exciting new food concept to Hayling Island.  

The group behind Drift Bar - ​one of Southsea’s best-known entertainment venues - has taken over the former Piranha Bar at Sparkes Marina, on the Eastern tip of the Hayling Island and will be opening this month as an exciting new all-day dining destination – Drift Hayling.  

Drift Hayling will be open 7 days a week, 8am to 11pm serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks.

It will feature an open, wood fired kitchen which will enable the new team to cook up an extensive range of mouth-watering dishes using locally sourced and seasonal produce.

To accompany the new menu there is an extensive, hand-picked wine list - with wines sourced from all over the world - a large range of cocktails, craft beers, and an award winning selection of premium spirits.

There is an exclusive private dining area and large, alfresco deck offering relaxed summer dining and drinking. The venue also houses a delightful rooftop terrace with spectacular views over Chichester Harbour and the Witterings. The perfect place to enjoy a cocktail whilst watching the sun go down and the world sail by.

Drift Hayling has been designed and fitted by world renowned architects ADI, designers of over 300 bars and restaurants including the Ritz Carlton.  The exciting new venue will boast a light and airy interior and will reflect coastal themes of exposed timber, natural stone and soft and muted colours in keeping with the history of this former boat house.  

There’s even doggie ice creams and doggie beer to quench the thirst of furry patrons.
